"An error occurred while reading the FLP file"
"It may exist corrupted, or some plugin caused an mistake while opening."
So I've been working hard on a track for like the concluding calendar week and a one-half and today I come up to open it to finish information technology up and I get that message. I'm genuinely crushed by seeing this, I'd put so much effort into the rails and was hoping to upload afterward today merely now...nil. I've searched around and from the looks of things I won't exist getting it dorsum.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? If and so, did you manage to recover your project (and how), or is it basically game over?
It's and so frustrating as I save every 5 minutes to brand sure I don't lose anything and at present this. I gauge in the end information technology'southward my fault for not backing up the project to a second save file simply I honestly had no idea that this could happen. Any assist you guys accept is appreciated.

Is either your copy of FL, or any of the plugins used in the project, cracked copies?

Re: "An error occurred while reading the FLP file"
I just went into the Backup folder and saw similar xxx backups of that project! I had no idea they were there and they seem to piece of work fine and the latest 1 opened exactly where I left it so hopefully I can carry on now and just exist extra careful. Such a relief seeing that, peradventure I should of checked that binder earlier panicking and posting on hither lol. Cheers for the responses anyway.
@wub My FL copy is genuine but I take a croaky copy of z3ta from a few years back and so maybe that was what acquired it. I hardly utilize that anymore anyhow so maybe it's worth getting rid of altogether.

Sometimes people tin can't beget products like big name VSTs and DAWs and so torrents are close "friends." Skream wouldn't exist where he is today without that little cracked copy of Fruity Loops. It is stealing but... When you lot actually tin afford them, yous buy the product twice to recoup for the time y'all stole. That's just my two cents though.

FL has an optional auto backup; the default is a backup prompt.

Re: "An fault occurred while reading the FLP file"
Got hit with a corrupted project near a month ago only only went through the backup files in the FL Backup folder until one wasn't corrupted which worked fine.
Went to open a dnb melody final week though that I'd been working on simply considering I've been jumping betwixt several projects the backups for the dnb tune have disappeared and I can only admission the backups of the virtually recent track I'd been working on.
Does anyone have an culling method for resurrecting it? Would hate to think that it'southward gone to waste product. Even tried downloading a program that claims to prepare corrupted projects but no luck.
